Join Salons for Life and usher in the New Year with mindfulness and simplicity in our first salon of 2024, "SLO-MO: Way to Go - Slow Living in a Fast World,'' with Yoga Teacher, Vegan Chef/Food Coach, Activist, Podcaster and Ayurveda Consultant, Karo Tak

Life in the modern world pulls us in a million directions. In this salon, we will use principles from yoga and ayurvedic philosophy to bring us closer to our essence; to live more happily and at ease. Starting with an eating meditation, salon participants will learn how to establish daily routines and rituals that help ground within the body and align with our values. This salon is for anyone and everyone, who is interested in prioritizing self care for their 2024.

Karo lives and breathes AHIMSA (non-harming. This shines through in everything she does. Having taught for over a decade, Karo is an 800-hr yoga teacher, certified in both Jivamukti and Yogasana. Karo also brings a performance background in theater, film and creating her own work. Her teachings are drawn from her work as a life coach, life-navigator and animal rights activist.Speaking from a place of realness and authenticity, Karo has traveled the world, sharing her stories and experiences as an activist, trained in yoga and yoga philosophy.
